How to – Contouring for square-shaped face!

Another video! Here I show you how I do my contour/ how you should contour a square-shaped face. I used Make Up For Ever Pro Sculpting Palette in shade 30, which has a great pigment and still applies smoothly. For highlighting I used NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla just ’cause the palette doesn’t have light enough shade for me. Foundation and concealer brush are from Ecotools, but you could just use your fingers since the products are in cream-form.

When it comes to contouring a square-shaped face you want to soften the hard angles. Basically you should contour the sides of your jaw and the sides of your forehead. Contouring your jaw is tricky and I don’t always do it just ’cause I don’t see much of a difference. In the video I still show you how to do it.  When contouring your cheekbones you want to keep it nice and light so you don’t emphasize the square structures. With a highlighter you wanna bring out the center of your face. But I think the most important thing for a square face is a blush. You can apply it right in the middle of your cheeks. It really brings the attention to the centre of your face and makes you look a bit softer and feminine.
