I feel inspired by colours. You can thank the sun and the yellow May (it’s a saying) but actually I’m attracted by colourful things no matter the season. Back home we had this street that had a kindergarten next to it and it had windows facing the streets. One of the windowsill had a jar of colourful sharpened pencils on it and I always stared at the pencils when walking by. I wanted to take those pencils and escape to Neverland.

Note to self: I should draw and colour more often with my man’s goddaughter.

I get inspiration from other beautyblogs too. I follow many blogs but don’t know personally many bloggers. I’ve still met some awesome people through blogging and two of them are Laura and Pauliina. Laura is so enviable with her huge beautiful eyes and Kylie Jenner lips. She’s also crazy talented and fun to be with. Pauliina is super pretty and I admire her use of colours and her blending skills. I love this white eyeliner look that she did some time ago.

What should I paint on my face next? I finally feel like I can’t wait for the morning so I get to do my makeup!

How to – Contouring for square-shaped face!

Another video! Here I show you how I do my contour/ how you should contour a square-shaped face. I used Make Up For Ever Pro Sculpting Palette in shade 30, which has a great pigment and still applies smoothly. For highlighting I used NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla just ’cause the palette doesn’t have light enough shade for me. Foundation and concealer brush are from Ecotools, but you could just use your fingers since the products are in cream-form.

When it comes to contouring a square-shaped face you want to soften the hard angles. Basically you should contour the sides of your jaw and the sides of your forehead. Contouring your jaw is tricky and I don’t always do it just ’cause I don’t see much of a difference. In the video I still show you how to do it.  When contouring your cheekbones you want to keep it nice and light so you don’t emphasize the square structures. With a highlighter you wanna bring out the center of your face. But I think the most important thing for a square face is a blush. You can apply it right in the middle of your cheeks. It really brings the attention to the centre of your face and makes you look a bit softer and feminine.
