As I’ve said before – brown and nude shades suit everyone and are great for everyday use. Sometimes they just feel a bit boring. The good thing about that is that nude makeup looks can be easily transformed into something a bit more inspiring. In this look I decided to add a colourful liner just to make it more fun.
Now I don’t own that many colourful liners. But what I do have is colourful eyeshadows. And liner brushes. And setting sprays. The easy solution is to wet your liner brush in setting spray and then use eyeshadow as a liner. In this look I used NYX’s Matte Finish Setting Spray and IsaDora’s Eyeshadow palette “Tropical Garden”. This palette has a great pigment that really comes to life when wetted.
If you don’t have a setting spray you can use water. I don’t actually use this particular setting spray – not on my face at least. It smells like alcohol, it doesn’t really mattify or do anything else for that matter. But I’m glad I discovered this new way of using it! It works great for this.
I also have to say one thing about my lashes: if you have trouble applying fake lashes, just cut them in smaller pieces and apply them one by one. I used Eylure’s lashes in style 100 and cut that in three pieces. So much easier than using just one strip!
